Maslow

Maslow’s theory remains tremendously influential. Though intuitively appealing, Maslow’s theory is inconsistent with a Christian worldview.

Matthew 6:33 suggests we first seek the kingdom of God and trust that our needs will be met.

Contrition, self-denial, and humility are means by which we achieve spiritual growth, not group membership, achievement, or social status.

Jesus, not knowledge or self-awareness, is the measure of Mankind’s “actualization.”
